Riding Mat (Black) [+$59.95]

A must have for boarders, athletes and fitness enthusiasts of all disciplines. Ideal for an active lifestyle and super fun for the whole family.

The Butter NUB has a slightly tapered shape which allows the rider to transition and move quickly. The banana shaped nubs on the nose and tail are turned to follow the length of the board and create a more challenging and faster toe-heel movement. With the Butter NUB riders can progress and practice their skills: mimicking board sports movements, rotations, and core strengthening. It is ideal for boards sports training, fitness, and advanced rehabilitation exercises.

How is this board different from the Pickle?

Difference between the Butter and the Pickle is most evident in the shape of the decks and the length of the banana shaped nubs. The Butter has a shorter overall deck length and increased nub length thereby making the Butter more stable from toe to heal. Conversely the Pickle NUB has an increased deck length with decreased banana nub length thereby making it quicker reacting from toe-to-heel. It's the smaller nubs that result in an increase challenge.

A great, simple piece of equipment to enhance balance
I love it! Exactly what I expected; something to practice my balance, with less chance of hurting myself or damaging something else. No moving parts. I'm a beginner and the easiest way to start is on carpet, looking at a full length mirror (far enough away so you won't fall into it). It was difficult at first to simply stay on the board. Then I try to keep the board from touching the ground, then try to hold the board totally stationary, then close your eyes, then a few maneuvers. Later I can move up to more challenging equipment.

Mr.
I’m very happy with my purchase: beautiful workmanship, great quality, and very challenging to this 76 year old fly fisherman trying to improve his on-river balance!! I found out about your products from a link on a Facebook Orvis posting. Keep up the good work!! Roy.

Father
bought this board for my 4,5, and 7 year old to use, they are used to the Flow and Long Board, I figured this would provide them with another challenge, we use it on rubber floor mats, its still challenging for my youngest but for my older two, they are into the roller action that the other boards provide. I would recommend it to people looking to get into balance board training as a beginning tool and for very young kids.
